Hampton Park has been a central recreational facility for Piedmont families since it was created by a gift from Witter Family in 1974.  In 2008, the City of Piedmont approved a renovation master plan.  In 2017 construction started and the newly renovated Hampton Park opened in 2018.  Funding for the new Hampton Park was made possible by a collaborative public-private partnership between the City of Piedmont and PRFO and generous community members.  In total over $850,000 in private donations were received!
